The Importance of Self-Transparency
The importance of self-transparency is to show your true self. For instance what transparent means is to be clear or see-through. Also easy to notice or understand.
When you are transparent, you invite trust by revealing that you have nothing to hide. Hence, you establish yourself as an honest, credible person in the eyes of others.

What is it to be Self-Transparent?
Self-transparency is to not sweep the mistakes under the rug. Show others who you are by sharing what you do and how you do it. Encourage others to ask you questions or come to you for answers.
Think about describing yourself to another person without mentioning any external factors. Concentrate solely on yourself, how you feel and behave, what your strengths and weaknesses are, what makes you angry or what makes you happy.
This is not just about understanding ourselves, but experiencing ourselves. It empowers us to make changes and build on our areas of strength. Self-transparency is our first step in knowing what we need in order to move forward.
Self-transparency relates to emotional intelligence and success
By showing and being open about yourself, you start to create new goals, achievable goals because you can consider your strengths, weaknesses, and what drives you when you set those steps to follow.
Things start to become real and the pressure is lifted. You start to recognize your own value system and respect your decision making because you are being open and honest with the one person that counts, YOU!
Getting that emotion in the right place you start to become self aware and can set better boundaries to know what belongs to you and what belongs to others. In other words, don’t imagine that everyone else has the same problems, or that your problems are theirs.
Learn to see what is around you.
When you are self-transparent, you see things about yourself more clearly. Working on being transparent helps with mindfulness. There are many mindset tricks we can do to help keep us aware. Yet it takes practice and discipline.

Remember the importance of self-transparency is an individual’s ability to appreciate the strengths and weaknesses of one’s own character. Realizing this will enable you to take action, make choices and be more open with who you are and how you do things.
